From Editor's Diary (Romantic Excerpt)

From Editor's Diary........

She was new. Someone I have never seen. Someone I've I have met. But she looked so familiar, like I knew her from a thousand years. Her red stockings, red sweater, reminding me of roses, garden, summer...., heaven. Her steps soft and careful on the concrete pavement. Her little finger stretched away from her cold clenched fist. She always did that. Her eyes scanning the side bushes. Eyes, innocent like a baby, so unknown to this earthly world. The frozen air trying to kiss her pink cheeks.
She did not turn back.
I had to imagine her stop and look back at me. I had to imagine her kiss the air and send the warmth to me. I had to imagine her to be in love with me.
I had to imagine the flourishing truth to be the forever lie.
